In the red-light areas, “good money” means dignity. Rahab’s Rope has been fighting human trafficking in since 2004. A few years ago while working in a red light district, we began a vocational training program to give women hope.
We began with a simple bracelet and the first time we paid the women they said, “This is the first GOOD MONEY we have ever made!” Women leave our centers describing how their work provided them with joy. This joyful work is new and unfamiliar and it is made with good money.
