Story behind the store/organization?
In 2004, after multiple trips to India, Vicki Moore learned the prevalence of human trafficking in India, 200 women and girls forced into the sex trade daily. Vicki listened to an interview of a young woman rescued. She lacked education and skills and pleaded with listeners to teach her so she would have dignity through work. Vicki felt a calling to empower such women. Rahab’s Rope was first introduced in Bangalore, India. This began the journey of bringing hope and restoration. Rahab’s Rope now operates in four locations, running fourteen programs and positively impacting thousands of lives.

We are currently working to develop a way for you to get involved in this fight domestically and we will be sure to let you know when those opportunities become available. We also ask you to prayerfully consider joining us in India on the frontlines of our work. And last but not least, please make the work the God is doing through Rahab’s Rope apart of your daily prayer. There is nowhere more important for this work to be done.
Do we support or work with other Anti-human trafficking org in the USA?
While the call put on Vicki’s heart by God called her specifically to combat human trafficking in India, Rahab’s Rope works to help provide for and support other organizations fighting the same fight at home. We are able to provide financially when needs arise for these other organizations, spread awareness in speaking engagements, and share resources. Additionally, Rahab’s Rope provides an outlet for women who are victims of commercial sexual explotation in a local rehabilitation program to fulfill each step of their recovery process by working alongside our staff in our warehouse space.

We create simple and beautiful products that showcase the dyeing skills that the women at HT have developed over the years.
The ARTISANS - The women artisans at HT are challenged by life; most have been economically and socially marginalized and their stories are their own to share. One of the first fair trade organizations in the world, SERRV International began its mission in 1949 by helping displaced European refugees trade their handcrafts for income after the Second World War. Since then, we've extended our reach to countries worldwide, working to support over 8,000 artisans and farmers every year by selling their beautiful handcrafts and delicious foods.

To empower small-scale global artisans and farmers through long-term trading partnerships, helping them build sustainable employment, resources, rights, and a vision of hope in their communities.
What we believe in - Creating employment. SERRV works to provide employment opportunities to all artisans. As their hearts and lives were woven together, Intertwined Candles was born to let the light of their friendship shine in your life too! We are a non-profit that began in 2016 to provide meaningful, sustainable work for refugees living in Clarkston, Georgia.

Standing on the Word Socks
We are a family business in Birmingham, Alabama that decided to put our creativity to work in June 2015. With a passion for God's word I looked at a pair of socks one day & asked God, "how do I put a verse on a sock?" Our heart is that the WORD be out of the closed up book & active in our lives every day! As quick as the idea came, I called a friend & said, " Does this sound crazy? What if we print the verse on the sole & whoever you give it to, all day long, everywhere they go they would be standing on the WORD!!" That was September 2016 & it has been an adventure ever since!! Our socks are loomed, designed & shipped from Alabama. Give back - We are blessed to be a blessing to others. We cheerfully give charitable donations to Stopfortheone.org which empowers children, education, and communities through sponsorship programs. Matthew 25:40 "Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to ONE of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me".

Pure and Simple Soap
our story.....
"It began with a diagnosis on Christmas Eve of 2009. Not good news: primary, slow growing, left frontal, stage 2, glioma. In layman's terms that means my husband had a brain tumor. The treatment plan was not what we wanted to hear; so we decided to take a different route. We decided to make some serious life changes and begin to make wiser choices for our family. One of those choices was to read labels and stop putting chemicals on our skin." Newly married with 5 children, Lisa is a stay at home, homeschooling mom with a passion for helping others make the same smart choices she and her husband learned to make the hard way. She created her own natural line of soap, skin care, and cleaning products to give people healthy options for their skin. She loves to talk to people about her products and how they can help with different health or skin issues. She wants to help people see the dangers of the typical commercial products most people are using every day on their skin and hair. Lisa's prayer for her business is: "Lord, bless the work of my hands by doing Your work through my surrendered hands."
Pure & Simple Soap is a family owned business that offers a wide variety of handmade all natural soap, skin care, cleaning, and essential oil products for the whole family. We make our products from scratch in small batches in our soap kitchen in Clarkesville, Georgia. We intentionally leave out the harsh chemicals, preservatives, and artificial dyes and fragrances that are harmful to your skin.
Meat Head Charcoal
MEAT HEAD CHARCOAL was founded with one mission: to provide a quality, clean, and long-lasting charcoal for grilling and smoking. Like most great business stories, this one started with two friends having a dream. Our journey began because of our passion for charcoal and our belief that we could provide the best lump charcoal on the market.
But truthfully the story goes back further than that. Our families heritage was built on the foundation of friendship and lifetime bonds forged through great meals, entertaining, and hospitality. Paired with a love for grilling, led to our quest to change the grilling experience...from the everyday backyard griller to the self-proclaimed pit-masters.
We believe in selling you a quality product that we are proud to stand behind. We believe in supporting our local community and other small businesses. We’ve learned a ton throughout our journey and know this is only the beginning of our adventure.
