Bangladesh Cascade Basket Large

Recycled sari cotton is hand-wound over kaisa grass to build this large storage basket, colour cascading down the sides. Kaisa is a fast-growing natural grass that dries from green to soft tan. Women artisans in Bangladesh weave each one.
