Our God Is Boundless!

The last couple of weeks we have been celebrating the young women that are a part of our afterschool program, girls’ life skills class and vocational training. If you have been with us to the slums where these young women live it gives you insight to how difficult their lives are and how much more difficult change becomes. At times, it can become overwhelming because you want so much good to happen for these girls and you don’t know how you can make the changes. That’s when we are reminded it is not up to us. We look to God’s word for encouragement. Matthew 19:26 says “with God all things are possible”. This encourages our faith and reminds us that God can overcome any obstacle or challenge. What is impossible for us is obtained through God’s power and intervention. Matthew 19 emphasizes the boundless power and ability of God. God is boundless! Please celebrate these young girls and women with us and most of all pray for them. Pray that they would intimately know and look to the God that is boundless. Today is Palm Sunday and marks the beginning of Holy Week. It's a time for Christians to reflect on the events of Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. During Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, the people joyfully welcomed him, waving palm branches and shouting Hosanna. I have the privilege of spending this Holy week in Southeast Asia. There will be processions with palm branches and singing all covered in much prayer and fasting. I pray this week we take time to give Him praise and adoration.
