Grateful

Grateful

Each year as we celebrate the new year, we think about things we would like to do, places we would like to go, things we would like to change, and many times we set goals for the new year. It gives us the opportunity to begin the year with a fresh outlook. In 2025 I want to be more grateful. What a testimony it would be if our automatic response and reflex to everything in life was a grateful heart and spirit. Is that really possible? I believe it is! In reading about gratefulness, it is about expressing our thankfulness and being appreciative. It is being thankful, but grateful carries a more profound sense of emotion. When we look for and see the evidence of God working in our lives and those around us, as a Christian it should create a gratefulness that will lead us to joy! The journey of life is often difficult. We see many examples in the Bible of people in very difficult situations, yet they encourage us to give thanks and praise the Lord. We have a program in our ministry called Journey to Joy. The journey is about peoples lives that have been transformed by the love of Christ and their gratefulness and the joy that it brings to their lives. So, as we journey through this new year let us press on toward the goal for which God has called us in Christ Jesus. Let us be a testimony of gratefulness and joy!

The pictures above are of people we have served that have experienced true Joy in Jesus and have expressed their gratefulness. Enjoy!

This week we have our first volunteer team of 2025 on the ground serving in our ministry. They will be finishing up the last of our Christmas and New Year Celebrations with the people we serve. Please, be praying for this group of five volunteers as they serve and travel. More information will be coming in the following weeks on all the Celebrations and their impact. If you are interested in joining us on a trip please let us know!
