Compassion and Kindness

Our first team of 2025 just returned from serving overseas. They not only participated in the last of our many Christmas and New Year Celebrations, but were the hands and feet of Jesus on the ground with some of those we serve. We received a message from one of our national staff saying that the team connected our school children with the Bible in an extraordinary way. The team also worked at one of our women’s centers. They taught a lesson on Jesus washing the disciples feet. The team then washed the feet of the women at our center. Our national staff said it was a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness and compassion. Colossians chapter 3 teaches us to live like Christ. Verse 12 says, “clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Our team was full of compassions and kindness as they served, and you do this as you support us in so many ways.

Since the middle of December Rahab’s Rope has served and shared the love of Christ with over 1000 people. We have done this through traditional Christmas programs, picnics, parties, gifts, food, songs and dance. This would not have been possible without your support.
