Angel
Angel grew up in a home with a mother, father and younger brothers. Her father worked for daily wages, and the family was very poor. Even though they were poor the children were attending school. When Angel was 14 her mother passed away. After her mother passed away the father abandoned the three children. The Children’s Help Line was alerted by a neighbour that the children were homeless and begging for food. Our staff was called for help, and we were able to help place the children in children’s homes. We were able to get Angel into a girl’s Christian home where she is getting the help she needs to get caught up in her studies. The boys were enrolled in a home for boys. When we followed up to see how Angel was doing, we found she had adjusted well in her new home. Angel is a smart girl and passing all her classes. She has easily made friends and found she is good in sports and had won some medals. Everyone at the home was proud to see how well Angel had adjusted. Angel said she is very thankful to God for providing her this new home where she is safe and loved.
Thank you for all the ways you support Rahab’s Rope so we can continue to help women and children.
